A Training Needs Analysis (TNA) is essential before embarking on a training programme. A TNA will determine:
- what training is relevant
- whether training will improve performance and make a difference
- distinguish training needs from organisational problems
- link job performance with organisational goals
- encourage a cost benefit analysis of the proposed training.
We will work with you to ascertain the best method for performing a TNA, depending on time, cost, staff numbers, and existing information. Our experienced trainers will carry out data collection using a variety of methods such as interviews, observations, focus groups, performance data analysis, questionnaires or tests.
We will perform an in-depth analysis of the TNA, working in partnership with you to ensure that the data is interpreted to provide a training programme to meet your organisational needs in terms of content, delivery mode, support materials, cost and time frame.
